On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but I also wanted to include a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont. I recently picked up a breakfast burrito there and it reminded me why it deserves a spot on this list.

I appreciate Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time recreating in the Wasatch, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before a day outdoors. I frequently grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it fast and accessible without sacrificing quality. While I enjoy a drive-through burrito from other Mexican spots, those can leave me feeling heavy from grease—especially when I’m heading into strenuous activity right after. Beaumont’s offerings feel lighter and fresher, so I rarely have that problem.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito is packed with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn and bell peppers. What really elevates it, though, is the sauce. A good sauce can make or break a burrito, and Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo-escabeche dressing adds bright, tangy flavor that ties everything together without overpowering the other ingredients.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a great breakfast burrito. Alongside well-made coffee and fresh pastries, they serve items like a standout burrata salad and other seasonal dishes that reflect a focus on quality ingredients. The cafe’s patio and thoughtfully designed interior make it a pleasant spot to linger when you have time.
A small note: great food brings a crowd. On weekends you can expect lines and groups of people gathered outside. If you only want coffee and pastries, the quick in-and-out or the drive-through is easy and efficient. If you plan to sit down, though, allow for some wait time on busy weekend mornings.
Beaumont remains one of my top go-to breakfast stops in the area—reliable, fresh, and convenient for mountain-bound mornings.
